At the end these questions are asked.
- How can you create enough thrust to
exceed the weight of the rocket?
- What structural materials and propellant
combinations should you use?
- How big will the rocket have to be?
- How can you make the rocket go where
you want it to?
- How can you bring it back to Earth
safely?
I think this will be our starting point.
Save the link for later reference this year, but it's a little much for my 4 and 5 year olds to get all the way into!

This experiment helps kids explore what to add to the rocket to make it go in the direction they want it to go.
